The 2017 Patelin de Tablas from Tablas Creek Vineyard is a Syrah-driven Rhône red blend sourced from some of the finest vineyards across Paso Robles. A Multi-Region Blend with a Clear Identity

Tablas Creek builds the Patelin de Tablas around the dark fruit, mineral tension, and spice of Syrah. Three limestone-rich regions contribute structure and acidity: the warmer, higher-elevation Adelaida Hills near Tablas Creek itself, the cool coastal-influenced Templeton Gap, and the moderate, hilly El Pomar district. Additionally, the warmer Estrella District brings juicy, darkly fruited Syrah from sandy loam soils. Grenache adds brightness and freshness. Mourvèdre brings structure and meatiness. Counoise rounds out the blend with complexity and lift. All varieties fermented with native yeasts in a mix of upright oak fermenters and stainless steel tanks, then aged in wooden uprights before bottling in July 2018.
