This single‑varietal Roussanne from the Adelaida District in Paso Robles marks the essence of Rhône‑style white winemaking in California. The 2019 vintage brought low yields, focused fruit and a growing season that balanced richness with freshness. Fermented on native yeasts and matured in large French oak foudres, puncheons and small barriques, the wine exudes layers of honeycomb, pear skin, salted mango and wet stone. Its texture is plush yet defined, and the finish lingers with subtle spice and minerality. With just about 1 300 cases produced globally, this wine stands out for its rarity and depth. Ideal now with rich shellfish or creamy vegetarian fare, and promising further complexity with age.
