Tablas Creek Panoplie 2018 is the winery’s flagship red. It is also one of the most sought-after Rhône-style blends in the United States. This cuvée blends Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Grenache grown on Tablas Creek’s certified organic and biodynamic estate in Paso Robles.
The vineyard sits on limestone-rich soils in the Adelaida District. These soils, along with the cool 2018 growing season, created ideal conditions for balance and freshness. Grapes ripened slowly, building depth and flavor while keeping their natural acidity.
Panoplie 2018 opens with aromas of raspberry, cassis, cherry, and dried herbs. On the palate, you’ll find layers of dark fruit, black pepper, and earthy spice. Mourvèdre gives the wine structure and depth. Syrah adds richness and savory character. Grenache brings lift and energy. Together, they create a wine that feels bold, refined, and complete.
Fermentation took place with native yeasts. The wine was then aged in large French oak foudres. Bottling happened without fining or filtration. These methods preserve purity and show the wine’s sense of place.
Panoplie is produced only in top vintages. It is rarely available outside the U.S. That’s why we are proud to offer it in Europe through americanwine.club. This is a true transatlantic icon—built to age gracefully over the next 15–20 years.
