The 2025 Weis Vineyards Unoaked Chardonnay 2025 highlights the precision and freshness of cool climate Chardonnay from the Finger Lakes. The vineyards lie near Keuka Lake, where slope and climate shape the wine’s character. As a result, this Chardonnay shows clarity, balance, and a strong sense of place without any influence of new oak.
On the nose, this Finger Lakes Chardonnay opens with wet limestone, green pear, and melon. In addition, the aromatics feel clean and focused. On the palate, the wine is crisp and structured. Subtle orchard fruit notes come through first, while bright acidity provides lift. At the same time, a chalky mineral edge carries the wine into a long and refreshing finish.
