Living Roots
Living Roots is a young transatlantic winery producing crisp, expressive wines from New York’s Finger Lakes and Australia’s Adelaide Hills. Their Rieslings and Pinot Noirs from the Finger Lakes capture the clarity and energy of one of the most exciting cool-climate wine regions in the United States.
At americanwine.club we are delighted to introduce the 2024 Bone Dry Riesling from Living Roots, based in the Finger Lakes region of New York. This wine is a statement of terroir, crafted with minimalist intervention and a genuine sense of place. The 2024 growing season in the Finger Lakes delivered concentrated flavour and bright acidity thanks to cool nights and ideal ripening conditions.
The wine opens with aromas of lemon, green apple skin and wet slate. On the palate you’ll find brisk acidity, crisp pear bite, flinty minerality and a clean, long finish with subtle salinity. It’s designed to pair effortlessly with fresh seafood, sushi, crisp salads or spicy Asian dishes. But is equally compelling on its own.
