The 2021 Tradition Rosé from Cruse Wine Co. is an absolutely essential wine, standing apart from lighter sparkling styles. This is a complex, textural, and utterly captivating take on Californian bubbly, crafted using the demanding méthode traditionelle and built upon a core of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from expressive vineyard sites across the Sierra Nevada Foothills, Mendocino, and Napa.

After spending over two years aging sur lie (on the yeasts), the wine emerges with an intense richness that offers layered aromas of roasted strawberries and cream, brioche, and sweet red cherry, all firmly structured by a clean, saline finish and a distinctive textural density. This sparkling rosé holds powerful personal resonance for me: it was our engagement wine, a bottle that perfectly captured the joy and depth of that new chapter.
