We are proud to feature Heron Hill Winery, one of the Finger Lakes’ most respected names. Founded in 1977 by John and Josephine Ingle, Heron Hill has become a symbol of sustainable excellence on the slopes of Keuka Lake. The winery crafts elegant, small-batch wines from its Keuka Estate and Ingle Vineyard, combining tradition with a deep respect for the land.

Certified by the New York Sustainable Winegrowing Program, Heron Hill represents a commitment to responsible stewardship, from vineyard to bottle. With stunning lake views and a portfolio of award-winning wines, Heron Hill offers a true sense of place and purpose in every glass.

I first discovered Heron Hill by chance: Jess, their marketing director, overheard my wife and me speaking German at Jerlando’s in Watkins Glen and kindly introduced herself. The very next day, we visited the winery and returned the following year. It was one of those small, serendipitous moments that helped shape the vision behind americanwine.club: to bring these kinds of authentic, personal wine stories to a wider audience.
